Elekta cuts dividend by 67%

Swedish medical technology company Elekta will lower its annual dividend from SEK 1.50 to SEK 0.50 per share.

The Swedish company, that makes neurological and radiation equipment, had paid a SEK 1.50 dividend the last couple of years, including additional special dividend payments of SEK 0.50 in 2014 and 2013.

Analysts had been expecting a dividend of SEK 2 from Elekta. The indicated dividend yield for Elekta is now 0.9%.
